A distinguished graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a PhD from the University of Moratuwa, Dr. Amararachchi boasts over three decades of invaluable experience in the higher education industry. Having dedicated over 22 years as an academic staff member at the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya and Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, his expertise spans Intelligent Systems, Knowledge Management, and Parallel Systems. Driven by a passion for innovation, he has contributed significantly to the academic realm.
Prior to his academic pursuits, Dr. Amararachchi excelled in the software industry, holding prominent positions in renowned organizations such as the Janatha Estate Development Board and Sri Lanka Tea Board. Following years of dedicated service in academia and the software sector, he made the strategic decision to venture into entrepreneurship.
